The Little Mermaid Statue, based on the fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen is a small and unimposing statue. It is an icon of Copenhagen and one of it's most visited landmarks.
The picturesque houses on the sunny side of Nyhavn are more than 300 years old. This port was established by King Frederik V in the 17th Century and was the gateway from the sea to the inner city. The picturesque boats remind us of Denmark's maritime history.
